Karen Lohr

Production and Assembly

Karen's ability to do intricate work landed her a position at TeachSpin 14 years ago. Karen is in charge of building, from beginning to end, more than half a dozen of our instruments. She is also involved in working on various assemblies for most of TeachSpin's other instruments. At times, Karen can be found discussing with Jonathan ways to resolve mechanical issues that occur during instrument development.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys going on long bike rides (sometimes with Jonathan), hiking, and playing scrabble with her husband of 41 years, Bob. Karen has five children, three of which are married, and five grandsons.
