Claire Delavan graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 2026 with a BS in Engineering Physics and joined the team at TeachSpin soon after. Through school, she was fascinated by physics concepts but found a lot more joy in the machine shop than solving a set of partial differential equations. Since starting at TeachSpin, she has been able to see the beauty of how desired physics interactions can influence the dimensions of an apparatus' design and enjoys being a part of the team that makes those apparatus a reality.

 

Outside of work, she has her own personal projects to work on including adding to and upgrading a self-fabricated motorcycle. She also likes playing games of all kinds and keeping in touch with her family back in Colorado.
